Emergency Phone Program (EPP)
EPP includes emergency blue light towers, emergency blue light wall-mount stations and elevator phones.
Blue light devices are equipped with speaker phones and topped with strobe lights. Over 400 blue lights are strategically placed throughout FSU’s campus.
All emergency telephones ring directly to the FSU Police Department during an emergency. Should you ever feel threatened, see anything suspicious or require police assistance in anyway, push the emergency button located under the speaker of the emergency phone device to be connected with the FSU Police Department’s dispatch center.
The installation, maintenance and repair of EPP equipment is managed and facilitated by Facilities, Operations & Maintenance. The FSUPD is involved in decisions made concerning placement and/or moving of emergency telephone equipment.
Instructions
